What about Mind Lab Pro and ADHD?

A lot of people are now asking, “What about Mind Lab Pro and ADHD? Can it help?”.

After all, Mind Lab Pro is generally considered an effective nutrition supplement for better brain health.

Well, in my opinion, I really think that it can.

The one caveat I would mention right away is that there’s never a ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to people’s health.

If someone has very severe ADHD symptoms, they really need to keep taking their prescription medications.

On the other hand, someone who is lower down on the ADHD spectrum could consider using nootropic supplements instead of psycho-stimulants to manage their symptoms.

They should of course work with their doctor on figuring out what works best for them, just to be cautious.

The good news is that one way or another, Mind Lab Pro can be a very useful tool for nourishing your brain, and improving your long term mental health.

In any case, this article is going to explore why and how Mind Lab Pro can help with ADHD.

Let’s get started!

What is ADHD? – How it Cripples You

The symptoms of ADHD can be subtle, and sometimes people make the mistake of assuming that the things they do are just part of the person’s personality or habits.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Little Girl being Shamed

This is absolutely not the case.

ADHD is a medical condition, and people that have it process information differently.  They tend to be terrible at organizing things, and may seem to have some antisocial behaviors.

You may be familiar, but these are some of the more common symptoms:

  • Inattentive
  • Poor Time Management
  • Impulsive Behavior
  • Appearing Distant
  • Emotional Outbursts
  • Difficulty Completing Tasks
  • Frustrated by Prioritizing/Planning

These tendencies often lead to people with ADHD being labeled as ‘slackers’ as they try to fit into the standard 9 to 5 world.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Slacker Living Under a Bridge

I had a friend with ADHD jokingly tell me, “What I need is a time machine that slows down time for me, and speeds it up for everyone else.”.

I laughed my face off when I heard that, but all joking aside, that’s a great way of explaining what having ADHD can feel like.

Time passes way faster for them than they realize, and they almost never get as much stuff done in a day as they expect.

It’s not uncommon for individuals with ADHD to have the following issues:

  • Poor Performance at Work/School
  • Unemployment
  • Financial Hardship
  • Substance Abuse
  • Criminal Activity
  • Unstable Relationships
  • Poor Health – Mental & Physical
  • Diminished Self-Esteem
  • Depression
  • Increased Risk of Suicide

As if this wasn’t enough, sometimes people with ADHD can also have associated concerns like learning disorders, or problems with anxiety and their mood.

When people are unaware they have ADHD, their actions are poorly understood by those around them, and nobody really knows what’s going on.

They start to question their value as a person, and can easily fall into the familiar traps of substance abuse or depression.

This is why ADHD has such a stigma attached to it, and how it can really hurt people.

So how can nootropics help with ADHD?

Let’s think about that…

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD – A Better Way?

I’m no stranger to the list of symptoms mentioned above.  I’ve encountered most of them at one point or another.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Man Sucking a Lemon

I was diagnosed with adult ADD in April of 2019.  You would think that was bad news, but actually it was a huge relief.

All my life, I felt like I was wrestling with an unseen enemy.  Every time I thought I might get to have a taste of success, something got in the way.

Knowing what I was dealing with gave me the ability to take back control of my life.

In any case, the 2 medications most commonly prescribed for ADHD are Ritalin and Adderall.  My doctor put me on Adderall.

Adderall is a very powerful stimulant, with all the nasty side effects to match.

When I was taking Adderall, I often felt dizzy or thirsty, and would crash at the end of the day.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Exhausted Man

The thing that bothered me the most about all of this was how rude I was to my family once I got home from work.

They deserved better, and besides, wasn’t the adderall supposed to make me happier and more functional?

Epic fail.  Sorry, but it’s true.

Not to sound ungrateful, but I decided that there just had to be a better way.

I have a friend that takes nootropics to perform better at work, and when I told him about my concerns, he recommended I start reading about them as an alternative.

I eventually tried Awaken Gold from Awakened Alchemy, and I liked it, but I found it to be a bit pricey.Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - 3 Bottles of Awaken GoldSo then I gave Mind Lab Pro a whirl, and I’ve never looked back.

Mind Lab Pro vs Adderall – No Contest

Basically what Mind Lab Pro did for me was counteract the effects of my ADHD symptoms, and improve my quality of life.

In a nutshell, these are the benefits Mind Lab Pro provided to me:

  • Ability to Focus
  • Improved Memory
  • Better Learning
  • Increased Motivation
  • Greater Self-Esteem
  • Reduced Anxiety
  • Sounder Sleep
  • Elevated Mood

Finding Mind Lab Pro was a major game changer for me and my family.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Man at Top of Mountain

I was a new man…

I could finally function properly at work, and I didn’t need hard core stimulants to do it.

That’s one of the many reasons I prefer Mind Lab Pro over Adderall; it provides clean energy, and encourages long term brain health at the same time.

I hate stating the obvious, but when you ingest something, whether it’s food, medication, or a supplement, it becomes a part of your body.

It becomes a part of you!

Shouldn’t you, as an intelligent, sentient being, make sure that whatever you take into your body is as pure as possible?

I think it should.  No question.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Monk Looking at Pristine Landscape

Long story short, after taking Mind Lab Pro for a few months, I felt that it was time to make a change.

Shortly after, I had a ‘heart to heart’ talk with my doctor.

We both agreed that since my symptoms are relatively mild, and I was seeing good results with Mind Lab Pro, I could go off Adderall.

That was a very happy day for me.

No more ‘Mr. Grouchy Pants’ at home.

Mind Lab Pro – A Good Value

I wish I could claim the cost of my nootropic supplements on my medical plan, but unfortunately that’s not the way things work.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Wallet Under Magnifying Glass

Still, I’m happy to pay out of pocket if I can have a better quality of life.  It’s worth it.

While we’re on the topic of cost, I just wanted to point out that Mind Lab Pro is a really good value considering the high quality of the ingredients.

If you purchase one bottle at a time, you’re looking at $75/bottle + shipping.

That might sound expensive, but some premium nootropic stacks can cost $100/bottle or more, and people are willing to pay it.

You remember me mentioning Awaken Gold?  It costs $99 a bottle, and it’s a good product.  But you know what?

I think Mind Lab Pro is a little bit better, and it costs less.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - 4 Bottles of Mind Lab Pro

Not only that, but if you decide you like Mind Lab Pro, and order 3 bottles at a time, you can get the 4th bottle free.

And they include the shipping free of charge.  That knocks your cost down to $56.25 per bottle.

Not bad.

I should also mention that Opti-Nutra, the company that makes Mind Lab Pro, only sells directly.  I’ve seen some ads on Amazon, but the prices are marked up.

If you place your order(s) online with Opti-Nutra, it’s cheaper, and you know they’ll honor the warranty.

Delivery times are good, but sometimes they’re sold out of product, so I’d also advise you to order more a few weeks before you’re due to run out.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD – Final Recommendations

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Puzzle with One Piece Left to Add

So do Mind Lab Pro and ADHD make sense?  Is it a good solution to this issue?

I think we’ve established that it’s effective, and affordable.

Whether you have severe ADHD symptoms, or a milder condition like me, you can benefit from supplementing with Mind Lab Pro.

Mind Lab Pro may improve cognition in the short term, and it definitely improves long term brain health.

The ingredients are extremely high quality, and the formula has been designed to create synergy between them.

Basically all the individual nootropics in Mind Lab Pro support each others’ effects so that they’re better together than if taken on their own.

Kind of like milk and cookies.

Mind Lab Pro and ADHD - Milk and Cookies

Mind Lab Pro has been engineered to nourish your brain and central nervous system so that you can perform at a higher level.

And for someone like me, performing at a higher level really means approaching normal.

In any case, I strongly believe that Mind Lab Pro can help a lot of people just like it helped me.

So if you genuinely think you might have ADHD, go see a medical professional about it, and take your life back.

All right, that’s all I had to share with you today.  Hope you enjoyed reading this post.

In my next article, I’ll be taking a look at Acetyl L-Carnitine, or ALCAR as a nootropic supplement.

Hope to see you there!

Personal Notes from Michael – Mind Lab Pro and ADHD

Bottle of Mind Lab Pro purchased by Michael

I wanted to share my personal experiences with Mind Lab Pro.

First of all, I wanted to tell you that this supplement DOES WORK.

Since a lot of the ingredients are either natural or herbal extracts, I noticed that the effects come on gradually.

Bacopa Monnieri, for example, takes time to build up momentum.  BM really starts to help you focus at the one week mark, and peaks at about one month.

You also need to take it regularly.  Skipping doses here and there is OK, but you’ll get better results if you’re consistent.

I would say the same goes for the Lion’s Mane Mushroom in Mind Lab Pro; the longer you take it, the better it works.

Man checking his watch while waiting.

The takeaway I wanted to impress on you is this; be patient.

Mind Lab Pro will get you the results you want, but it doesn’t hit you like a hammer.  It doesn’t contain any stimulants, like caffeine, so this should be expected.

Second, I found the service to be really good, and I received my order in 2 business days.

I live in Canada, and the nearest Mind Lab Pro distribution center is in the United States.  So I had to pay some fees to have the product cross the border.

The extra charge was about $20 for the 4 bottles I ordered, which spiked the cost up by about $5 a bottle.

If you live in the United States, this shouldn’t happen to you.

Cat with surprised expression.

However, if you live North of the border, don’t be surprised if you have to pay a bit extra.

Third, I’ve found that Mind Lab Pro really helps me focus, and manage my ADD.

The thing I notice the most is that my ability to plan ahead is better, as well as my decision making, reasoning, and multi-tasking capacities.

Technically, I can’t tell anyone that a nutritional supplement can be used to treat a bona-fide medical condition.

I’m not a doctor, so I’m not allowed to provide medical advice.

That being said, I CAN share my experiences, and let you know that Mind Lab Pro has definitely helped me manage my ADD more effectively.

Wooden puppet sharing information with other puppets.

I was prescribed Adderall for my ADD, which was the right prescription for me, but I hated it.

I worked with my doctor, and we both agreed that Mind Lab Pro was a better treatment regimen for me than Adderall.

If Mind Lab Pro works for me, why wouldn’t it work for you?

All right, that’s my 2 cents on the subject.  I just didn’t want to deprive you of any information that I thought might prove valuable to you.

Thanks so much for reading!

If you have any questions, please post a comment, and I’ll get right back to you!

  2. Hey Michael,

I found this article looking for more information on supplements for ADHD.

I know a few people that are dealing with ADHD, and wanted to understand their condition a little better. This post has done a good job of giving me the basics. Thanks for that.

Do you recommend this Mind Lab Pro supplement for people that have problems with brain fog? Sometimes I could use a bit of a boost throughout the day.

What exactly are nootropics? This is the first I’ve heard of them, to be honest.

  3. Hello Michael,

Thank you for this very informative article!

My tween daughter has ADHD.  Is Mind Lab Pro safe for use in younger children and teenagers?  I would like to give this a try instead of opting for the more harsh medications.

I might even give it a go myself.  It sounds like it could give my brain a bit of a boost too.

Thanks for reading my article.  Really appreciate your interest!

When it comes to minors, I would recommend you work with your doctor or other medical professional to decide on any treatment for your daughter.

I believe Mind Lab Pro would be OK for anybody to use, but the dosages are for adults.

You might want to wait until she’s 18, and in the meantime you can try Mind Lab Pro yourself.

      Hope that helps!

This is a very informative and honest article.

I’ve got a friend that has ADHD, and I haven’t been able to see him lately, but I have kept in touch.

I’ve forwarded this article to him because I believe Mind Lab Pro could help him out.

As you very honestly describe your own condition, I believe my friend should get in touch if he has any questions regarding this supplement, if that’s OK with you?

Thank you for a very interesting article, and keep up the great work.

  5. Hi Micheal,

    Very informative article.

I’ve never heard of Mind Lap pro before, but my son struggles with a bit of ADHD, and he’s almost 9. Is this suitable for kids?

One of my friend’s sons is also 9, and he has severe ADHD, and is on loads of medication. His mother is not happy with it as the medicine causes him to have a loss of appetite, and sometimes seem distant.

Would this product help kids? And how soon would there be results?

    Thanks once again,

    • Hi Kay,

Thanks so much for reading my article. Really appreciate your interest.

First of all, I know that making the decision to put your child on medication is extremely difficult for parents. I empathize with you and your friend, because my wife and I were thinking of doing the same thing for our daughter last year.

You need to work with your son’s doctor to find a suitable solution, and your friend needs to do the same thing.

I highly recommend you read my article on Bacopa Monnieri.

There are some early studies mentioned in that article about treatment of ADHD symptoms in children, and some of the risks associated with prescription medications.

The symptoms your friends’ son is experiencing right now sound very familiar to me; he’s probably on either ritalin or adderall.

Mind Lab Pro is dosed for adults, so I don’t think it would be recommended for use with children at this time.

The best I can do for you is provide you with information that might be helpful. I can’t provide medical advice.

However, as concerned Moms, you and your friend are free to take any information I provide you with to the medical professionals caring for your children, and ask some questions about alternatives.

It’s absolutely your right to do so.

I hope that was helpful. If you have any other questions later, please feel free to post another comment.

  6. Howdy Michael,

I like that the product is natural, and you don’t need a prescription.

That means that anyone who thinks they’re struggling with focus can give it a try.

I’ve noticed as I’ve grown older that my overall ability to focus has changed. Not probably like ADHD, but just different.

This might be a good solution for older people like me, as I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Interesting article.  Maybe I’ll give Mind Lab Pro a try.

    • Hey Marsha,

Thanks so much for sharing your insights.

You’re right, our brain function does change as we get older.  Generally, our mental flexibility declines, and it can be difficult to stay focused or learn new skills.

I’ve been taking Mind Lab Pro for just over a year now, and it really helps me stay on task.  I just added the new Performance Lab Omega-3 supplement to my daily routine, and it’s also helping.

If you’d like to know more about Mind Lab Pro, I’d recommend you read my full review.

Any questions, just give me a holler!
